Waste Composition at Kayu Madang Sanitary Landfill

Borneo Waste Industries conducted an extensive waste competition and characteristics study for 2018 to determine the average amount and composition of waste that is delivered to the Kayu Madang Sanitary Landfill each day. This study serves as a reference point for the design of the Integrated Waste Management Processing Plant's material recovery facility and downstream production capacity. The material recovery facility is a facility which receives, separates and sorts waste manually or through an automated system into different types of waste for recycling.

The layout of the 20 acres Integrated Waste Management Processing Plant within the Kayu Madang Sanitary Landfill is represented by an extract of the development plan submitted to Dewan Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu.
This Development Plan has been given Planning Approval by DBKK on 17th Oct 2019
